Job summary

Radius Care in Tauranga is seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader to deliver high-quality, resident-focused care while providing clinical oversight on the floor. You will mentor Registered Nurses, lead by example, and ensure compliance with health standards.

You will manage care plans, infection control, wound care, and medication management, coordinating with GPs and allied health professionals. A strong leadership mindset and NZ practicum are essential.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in New Zealand.
• Experience in aged care or hospital-level care is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with interRAI assessments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documents.
• Work on the floor to deliver and oversee resident care.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to nursing and care staff.
• Ensure best practice care is delivered consistently.
• Manage risk, quality, and compliance with sector standards.
• Oversee infection control, wound care, and medication management.
• Coordinate with GPs, pharmacies, and allied health professionals.
• Lead audits, care planning, and staff development initiatives.
