Job summary

Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown is seeking a Reservations Sales Agent to join our five-star, high-performing reservations team. You will maximise room revenue while delivering an exceptional guest experience and supporting the team with inquiries and bookings.

The role requires experience in luxury reservations, strong admin and sales focus, outstanding communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and public holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• Reservations experience in five-star hotel or resort desirable.
• Experience with Agilysys reservations system is highly desirable.
• Outstanding administration skill set, with a strong sales focus.
• High attention to detail and exceptional time management and multitasking.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maximise revenue and profitability of room sales while delivering a five-star guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and manage new and existing reservations via phone and email.
• Provide a five-star guest service and collaborate with the reservations team to meet targets.
• Respond to inquiries and process bookings within a 24-hour time frame.

TheRole

We have an extensiverange of luxury accommodation and experience at Millbrook Resort, the purposeof the role is to maximise revenue and profitability of the room sales, coupledwith delivering a superior guest experience and assisting the reservations teamwith meeting and exceeding sales targets. We are looking for someone with theability to work efficiently in a busy office environment and has a passion fordelivering unique and memorable guest experiences. We are a collaborative team, delivering a high-endbespoke reservation service, which requires strong communication andinterpersonal skills both over the phone and via email.

What does your Officelook like?

A day in the life of aReservations Sales Agent starts with a team brief to communicate tasks and aplan for the day. The phone line is livefrom 9am to 5pm every day and is busy throughout the day, our Reservations SalesAgents are ready and prepared to take these calls as they come in and provide afive-star guest experience to all callers. The inbox is also busy with guestenquiries for new reservations, assistance with existing reservations and internalenquiries – all of which are replied to within a 24-hour time frame to upholdour five-star guest service experience. In between guest interactions there areprojects and reports that are worked on and developed.

• Reservations experience in five-star hotel or resort desirable
• Experience with Agilysys reservationssystem is highly desirable
• Outstanding administration skill set, aswell as a strong sales focus with a proactive approach
• High level of attention to detail andexceptional time management and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills, coupledwith a “can do” attitude
• Passion for service delivery at a five-starlevel
• Maturity, initiative and confidence – abilityto work in a challenging environment
• Flexible to work weekends and publicholidays
• Enjoys working within a small team,and thrives working under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Location:

Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours:

Full-time (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)

Pay banding:

$26.50 - $29.50gross per hour (based on experience)
