Job summary

Woolworths Group in Timaru is seeking an Operations Leader to drive warehouse and store floor tasks, lead the swarm, and ensure shelves are stocked to Woolworths standards. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to optimise processes and deliver great customer service.

Key responsibilities include supervising daily routines, coaching team members, maintaining safety and compliance, and stepping in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operations & Stock Management: ensure accurate handling of tasks and oversee teams to fill shelves and manage deliveries.
• Team Leadership & Development: train and coach team members, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain Store Standards: ensure correct standards, prioritise shelf-friendly packaging and manage overstocks.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: escalate process issues to the Function Lead for resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: act as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and promote team collaboration.
