Job summary

Contact Energy is seeking a Materials Manager within the Major Projects group to coordinate materials and equipment flow from suppliers to site, ensuring safe, timely and high-quality project delivery across large-scale renewable projects in Aotearoa.

You will expedit e, organise logistics, storage and documentation, and engage with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders to keep complex projects on track. This role requires strong communication, planning, and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in materials management, ideally across large-scale capital projects in energy.
• Clear communicator; builds trusted relationships with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and maintain safety, quality and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end materials management across development, construction and commissioning phases.
• Oversee expediting, logistics, storage and documentation; engage with suppliers and delivery partners.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and delivery teams to keep projects on track; manage risk and priorities.
