Job summary

The Independent Recruiter NZ is seeking an experienced remuneration professional to bring their remuneration function in-house and build internal practice within Wellington. You will blend collaboration and autonomous delivery to embed the rem function into the wider team.

Key outcomes include establishing the remuneration practice in a complex environment, supporting business groups with guidance on remuneration, ensuring timely and accurate reviews, and building reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in remuneration and data analytics.
• The ability to engage with customers to elicit requirements and field concerns whilst explaining technical terms plainly.
• The ability to interpret complex legacy data structures.
• Highly adept at analytical reporting with technical knowledge of data wrangling in Excel, SQL and to introduce other analytics systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish the remuneration practice in a unique, complex work environment.
• Support business groups to ensure they have clear information and guidance on remuneration.
• Ensure remuneration reviews are conducted accurately and promptly.
• Build reporting systems to provide accurate data, extracts and reports.
• Own, refine and run the job evaluation process.
• Provide systems data security, integrity and assurance.
• Manage effective, constructive relationships with management and external rem suppliers.
