Qualifications

• Veterinary degree enabling full registration with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand (e.g., BVSc, DVM, VMD).
• Experience with teaching or training in higher education is desirable.
• Full drivers licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with contracted veterinary practices to deliver BVSc5 clinical training and address issues.
• Support and train practice staff in teaching and assessment of veterinary students.
• Coordinate Veterinary Work Integrated Learning courses with staff to manage information, queries, and results.
• Ensure placements meet accreditation requirements, policies, and ethics obligations.
• Contribute to development of the veterinary programme through professional development and sector representation.
• Monitor compliance with BVSc programme requirements and university policies.
