Job summary

Datacom NZ is seeking a Technical Lead – Data, AI and Analytics to provide senior technical leadership in the design, development, and optimisation of data, analytics, and AI solutions across data warehousing, dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT, analytics and emerging AI capability.

You will lead architecture, guide delivery, mentor engineers, and collaborate with data operations, reporting teams, architecture and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes and adoption of new capabilities across

Qualifications

Extensive IT experience in commercial environments.
Experience with AI-enabled analytics within enterprise data ecosystems.
Dimensional modelling and data architecture across data warehouses and lakes.
DevOps and Agile practices with CI/CD in data platforms.
Ability to design scalable data and analytics patterns.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and delivery across data warehouse/lake platforms.
Collaborate with operations, reporting, architecture, and stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership, quality, and architectural integrity across platforms.
Mentor engineers and uplift engineering practices within the team.
Guide estimation, sequencing, and delivery planning for initiatives.
Monitor performance and drive reliability and scalability improvements.
