Placements24 is seeking a Remote Structural Design Engineer for a forward-thinking engineering consultancy with a global reach. The role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to diverse projects from home.

You will design and analyze structures, collaborate with virtual teams worldwide, and apply BIM tools and cloud-based workflows. The ideal candidate has a strong material knowledge base and excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng.) or equivalent international accreditation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering design.
• Proven proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure, Tekla Structures).
• Experience with BIM technologies and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of various building materials (steel, concrete, masonry, timber) and their design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly in a remote setting.
• High level of self-discipline, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
