Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable backend services for a next-generation football fan app. You will implement AI-powered features, RESTful APIs, and robust data pipelines, working in a remote-first setup with occasional in-person meetups.

You will collaborate with an international team, contribute to cloud deployments on Azure, and participate in CI/CD, ensuring secure authentication and high performance across services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Python development for backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of FastAPI or Flask and RESTful API design.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Solid async programming and JSON data handling.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD pipelines; Azure familiarity is a plus.
• Good security practices: OAuth2, JWT, data protection.
• Nice-to-have Node.js familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI/Flask.
• Build RESTful APIs for mobile features and fan engagement.
• Integrate AI-powered features via external services.
• Implement asynchronous data flows and reliable inter-service communication.
• Model and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for performance.
