Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Electrical Engineer to lead Grid Modernization initiatives. You will design and implement smart grid solutions, focusing on reliability, efficiency and resilience of power networks, with cross‑regional collaboration.

Responsibilities include developing project specifications, conducting power system studies, mentoring junior engineers, and producing technical reports for stakeholders in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems specialization.
• 8+ years in power system engineering, grid modernization, and smart grid tech.
• Experience with SCADA, substation automation, and DMS.
• Knowledge of DNP3 and IEC 61850 protocols.
• Ability to lead projects and work remotely.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
