Placements24 is recruiting a seasoned Transmission Line Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design, inspect, and optimize high-voltage lines across national projects, coordinating with field crews and project managers from your home office.

The role requires a power-focused degree, 6+ years in line design, proficiency with PLS-CADD and L-PAS, and excellent communication for remote collaboration. This position offers competitive pay and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering with a power focus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in transmission line design and engineering.
• Proficiency with transmission line design software (PLS-CADD, L-PAS).
• Strong understanding of electrical conductor properties, structural analysis, and power system dynamics.
• Experience coordinating with external stakeholders and managing projects.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer transmission lines including route, structure, and conductor sizing.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical analyses for line components.
• Develop drawings, specs, and construction plans for projects.
• Oversee construction and commissioning phases of new lines.
• Inspect and recommend upgrades or repairs to existing infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
