Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Procurement Analyst to join a distributed team. You will analyze spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic sourcing with dashboards and data-driven insights.

This role requires 3–5 years of procurement analytics experience, strong Excel/SQL/Tableau/Power BI skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting for a SA-based company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Economics or Finance).
• 3–5 years of procurement analysis or spend analytics experience.
• Proficient in Excel (advanced), SQL, Tableau or Power BI.
• Remote work experience and ability to manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze organizational spending data to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track procurement metrics (spend, supplier performance, savings).
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to support sourcing and negotiation efforts.
• Evaluate supplier performance against KPIs and propose improvement strategies.
• Support procurement policies and procedures and develop business cases.
• Collaborate with remote procurement teams and stakeholders to gather data and insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes through technology and best practices.
• Provide analytical support for contract negotiations and supplier management activities.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytical outputs.
