Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years designing and implementing industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell), DCS, and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of power systems, generators, and grid operations.
• Experience with cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test control system logic for power plants and grid infrastructure using PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and maintain control algorithms, ensuring optimal performance and stability of energy systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and field technicians to integrate control systems with power equipment.
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for control system issues.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity measures for industrial control systems in the energy sector.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including control narratives, P&IDs, and user manuals.
