Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to help train and improve next-gen AI models. This fully remote, hourly contract role focuses on solving advanced physics problems and producing gold-standard solutions.

Work with leading AI research teams, with flexible scheduling and asynchronous collaboration. Ideal candidates hold a Masters in Physics (or closely related field) and can communicate complex concepts clearly in writing.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains.
• Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, well-structured physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic to serve as gold-standard references.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, reasoning quality, and clarity.
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI models reason more like expert physicists.
