Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert to train and improve AI systems. The role is fully remote on an hourly contract, with 10–40 hours per week.

You will design challenging EE problems, author rigorous solutions, and audit AI outputs for accuracy and safety in line with IEEE/NEC standards. Ideal candidates hold a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields and can work independently on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Strong foundation in VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, or power electronics.
• Excellent written communication of complex technical concepts.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and asynchronously.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems across electrical engineering domains to test AI performance.
• Author gold-standard solutions with clear, step-by-step reasoning for AI benchmarking.
• Audit AI-generated content for technical accuracy, safety, and engineering standards (IEEE, NEC).
• Refine AI reasoning by identifying errors and providing structured expert feedback.
