Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering — AI Data Trainer to craft challenging engineering problems and ground-truth solutions for AI models. This remote contract role lets you set your schedule between 10 and 40 hours per week, focusing on domains like circuit analysis, control systems, and signal processing.

You will review AI-generated content and provide feedback to improve model reasoning while maintaining high engineering standards. Prior AI experience isn’t required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong foundational knowledge in VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing
• Detail-oriented when reviewing mathematical equations and circuit logic
• No prior AI experience required – engineering knowledge matters

Responsibilities

• Design advanced electrical engineering problems across circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and embedded systems for AI reasoning tests
• Author ground-truth solutions with rigorous step-by-step explanations used as gold standards
• Audit AI-generated circuit diagrams, proofs, and code for accuracy and safety with standards (IEEE, NEC)
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model reasoning on engineering tasks
