Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to national and international regulations across global operations. This fully remote role requires developing and monitoring compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and guiding operational teams.

The ideal candidate has strong transportation law knowledge, investigative and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Strong understanding of international trade and transportation laws.
• Proficiency with compliance software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain logistics compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor changes in national and international regulations affecting logistics.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify non-compliance.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training on compliance requirements to staff.
• Liaise with regulators and authorities as required.
• Maintain permits, licenses and documentation.
• Advise management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
