Job summary

Future Skills is seeking a Leadership Subject Matter Expert to design and deliver an online Level 4 leadership curriculum in New Zealand. You will develop four courses, craft content, and create assessments to meet NZQA standards. The role is remote with periodic review meetings and milestones to achieve.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Experience writing course content, resources and assessments for tertiary or vocational programmes.
• Experience designing asynchronous online learning with engaging scripts and build briefs.
• Experience mapping content and assessment to qualification outcomes and standards.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and NZ Maori perspectives in leadership content.
• Excellent writing skills for Level 4 learners; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Map the programme's four courses and confirm where outcomes are taught, practised and assessed.
• Write and structure self-directed learner content for all four courses.
• Create build-ready specifications: screen content, scripts, activity briefs, quizzes, discussions, reflections.
• Collaborate with the Moodle Instructional Designer to build and review courses.
• Produce facilitator packs for weekly tutorials: plans, notes, slides and prompts.
• Develop assessment tasks, marking guides and model answers as per approval.
• Prepare materials for moderation and respond to feedback.
• Hand over editable source files and brief the teaching team.
