Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Blockchain Architect to spearhead blockchain initiatives from anywhere in the world. You will define the strategic technical direction for blockchain projects, guiding teams to scalable, secure distributed ledger solutions.

This leadership role requires deep cryptography and security knowledge, with a track record of deploying large-scale blockchain systems. Fully remote, with executive compensation potential and influence over the company roadmap.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in software architecture/design with 5+ years in blockchain.
Expertise in Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana and smart contracts.
Proven track record deploying large-scale blockchain solutions.
Strong cryptography, network security and consensus knowledge.
Excellent leadership, communication and strategic thinking for remote teams.

Responsibilities

Define and own the technical vision and architecture for the blockchain ecosystem.
Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure distributed ledger solutions.
Evaluate and select blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms and tools.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to blockchain teams.
Coordinate with product and business stakeholders to align strategy with goals.
Establish best practices for blockchain development, security and operations.
