Job summary

Placements24 partners with a cutting-edge AI-driven tech firm seeking a Lead HR Data Analyst to transform HR data into actionable insights in a remote-first environment. You will drive analytics strategy and build dashboards to monitor headcount, turnover, recruitment funnel, and engagement across the organization.

You will analyze workforce data, provide data-driven recommendations to HR leadership, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with IT/HRIS to ensure data accuracy and privacy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
• 7+ years of HR analytics or related data analysis experience.
• Extensive experience with HRIS (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, R, Python).
• Strong statistical modeling and predictive analytics knowledge.
• Excellent communication to translate data for non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading remote projects and mentoring teammates.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (POPIA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HR data analytics strategies and dashboards.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive HR dashboards and reports tracking headcount, turnover, recruitment funnel, and engagement.
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in talent acquisition, retention, performance, and diversity.
• Provide data-driven insights to HR leadership and stakeholders for workforce planning.
• Collaborate with IT/HRIS to ensure data accuracy and accessibility across systems.
• Develop predictive models for attrition and future talent needs.
• Mentor junior analysts in a remote setting and stay updated on analytics trends.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations in all reporting activities.
