Placements24 is seeking a motivated Procurement Officer with a focus on indirect services to join our remote team in New Zealand. You will drive value through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring high-quality services at competitive prices.

This role requires strong communication and analytical skills to manage supplier relationships and stakeholder expectations in a virtual setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with specific experience in sourcing services.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, requiring strong self-discipline and communication.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure indirect services, ensuring alignment with needs and budgets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify providers and best practices.
• Lead negotiations for SLAs and contract terms with vendors.
• Manage supplier performance and relationships to meet service delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand service requirements and provide procurement support.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, maintaining ethical standards.
