Job summary
The University of Auckland is seeking a Digital Library Specialist to join the Content Discovery and Innovation (CDI) team within Library Services at Te Kahu Tauira | Student and Scholarly Services (SaSS). You will provide specialist skills to ensure that the library collections application software delivers a customer-focused experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administrative configuration and Tier 2/3 customer support of Library collections application software, assisting
Qualifications
- Degree in information management, information science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' experience with library collections software or similar.
- Experience supporting and developing library application software.
- Experience creating, documenting, and implementing best practices and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provide admin configuration and Tier2/3 support for library collections software.
- Assist in evaluating, testing and communicating new product features and improvements.
- Participate in projects to review and redesign business processes related to library applications.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure a customer-focused experience.
