Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert to help train and evaluate AI models. This fully remote, hourly contract role invites you to design challenging electrical engineering problems and author gold-standard solutions for AI benchmarks.

You should be pursuing or holding an advanced degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with strong knowledge in VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, or power electronics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas listed.
• Excellent written communication of complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing to evaluate AI reasoning.
• Author step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning.
• Audit AI outputs for accuracy, safety, and compliance with standards (IEEE, NEC).
• Provide structured feedback to improve model performance on engineering tasks.
• Complete assignments asynchronously with flexible scheduling.
