Alignerr seeks a Mechanical Engineering Expert to train and evaluate AI models in cutting-edge engineering domains. You will design complex problems, craft precise solutions, and audit AI-generated content for accuracy and safety, all within a fully remote, hourly contract.

The role requires advanced degrees in ME/AE and strong fundamentals in mechanics, thermodynamics, and CAD/CAM, with fluency in conveying technical concepts in writing.

Qualifications

Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
Experience with CAD/CAM and manufacturing processes is a plus.
Ability to clearly communicate complex physical concepts in writing.

Responsibilities

Design complex engineering problems spanning multiple domains for AI training.
Author precise, step-by-step ground-truth solutions for benchmarking.
Audit AI-generated content for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance.
Provide structured feedback to refine AI reasoning and model performance.
