Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Computer Engineering Expert - AI Content Specialist for remote, hourly engagement. You will design advanced hardware challenges, craft ground-truth solutions with code and HDL, and audit AI outputs for accuracy and standards compliance.

The role emphasizes rigorous technical communication, attention to detail, and the ability to critique AI reasoning to improve model performance. Flexible hours 10–40 per week for a remote contractor.

Qualifications

• Masters (pursuing or completed) or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science with a hardware focus.
• Strong foundational knowledge in core areas such as Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, or Operating Systems.
• Analytical writing: ability to communicate highly technical hardware concepts clearly in writing.
• Attention to detail: precision in bit-level operations, timing, and technical documentation.
• No AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Complex Problems: Design advanced computer engineering challenges across RISC-V/ARM architectures, FPGA development, memory management, and HW-SW co-design.
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions: Create rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions with assembly code, HDL snippets, and architectural diagrams for AI training.
• Technical Auditing: Evaluate AI-generated code (C/C++, Verilog, VHDL), logic designs, and OS kernels for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Refine Reasoning: Identify logical fallacies in AI reasoning and provide feedback to improve model thinking.
