Job summary

eXp World Holdings Inc. is seeking a Compliance Officer & Supervising Agent for a fully remote role based in New Zealand. The role oversees AML/CFT compliance, privacy, and supervision of licensed salespeople under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008.

You will design policies, deliver training, manage complaints, and report to the Licensee and Board. Ideal candidates hold a NZ Real Estate licence, NZ Certificate in Real Estate (Level 6+), and at least three years in leadership with AML/CFT

Qualifications

• Current Agent licence under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008.
• NZ Certificate in Real Estate (Level 6) or higher.
• At least three years leadership experience involving compliance elements.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT Act 2009 as it applies to real estate.
• Strong understanding of REA Act 2008 and Rules 2012.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and implementing compliance docs.
• Experience designing and delivering training to dispersed or remote groups.
• Clean licensing and disciplinary record.
• Ability to satisfy AML/CFT vetting requirements, including NZ Police vetting.
• Entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• AML/CFT compliance: maintain risk assessment and programme, oversee due diligence, reviews, reporting, audits.
• Supervision of licensed salespeople, CPD, advertising, disclosures, and licensing compliance.
• Own and maintain compliance policies, procedures, supervision plan, templates and registers.
• Monitor legislative changes and translate into updates and guidance for the network.
• Design and deliver compliance training for the agent network, including AML/CFT updates.
• Manage internal complaints process, investigate breaches, document findings and responses.
• Act as Privacy Officer and oversee privacy practices and health and safety framework.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding compliance, license verification and record retention.
• Provide regular compliance reporting to Licensee and Board with remediation progress.
