Zusammenfassung

Apex Group is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the Compliance Manager and team across New Zealand, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations. You will deliver monitoring, reporting, policy coordination, and risk governance to strengthen the compliance framework and collaborate with Operations, Risk, and other functions.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of compliance experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT obligations and related duties (CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, SAR).
• Professional compliance qualification (ACAMS or equivalent) desirable.

Aufgaben

• Perform compliance monitoring and assurance activities per the Compliance Assurance Programme.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting, periodic risk assessments, and compliance analysis.
• Lead local and global policy reviews end-to-end, from approval to adoption.
• Lead outsourced provider oversight: onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing reviews.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns and filings.
• Provide compliance guidance to business stakeholders on regulatory obligations.
• Maintain understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and advise management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to governance reporting for committees and senior management.
• Support enhancement of compliance processes, controls, policies and frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of compliance activities.
• Provide support to the AML Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer as required.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Compliance Manager.
