Job summary

Findex seeks a seasoned accounting leader to manage the Virtual Operations A&T Pool. This fully remote Manager role reports to the Virtual A&T Pool Lead and owns day-to-day leadership of a high-performing virtual team delivering compliance work across New Zealand offices.

You will oversee workflow, develop people, drive quality, and build strong relationships with office stakeholders. NZ rights and remote work are required.

Qualifications

• CA qualification and accounting degree are required.
• Leadership with experience managing virtual/multi-site teams.
• Strong knowledge of tax and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate workflow across multiple offices, ensuring tasks are allocated and deadlines met.
• Lead, coach and develop Assistant Managers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants in a virtual team.
• Act as primary contact for offices on compliance delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting, tax, and compliance matters; resolve escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems and operations.
