Job summary

RELX INC is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel - Pacific to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across Australian and New Zealand businesses. You will manage a broad range of matters end-to-end with autonomy, including customer and supplier agreements, content licensing, technology and AI-enabled product initiatives.

You will negotiate with customers and suppliers, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to templates, playbooks and training while collaborating

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE and admission to practice in Australia or New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements across Australia and New Zealand.
• Negotiate directly with customers, suppliers and other counterparties.
• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice balancing risk with business goals.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across ANZ.
• Support new products and AI-enabled initiatives and use AI tools to improve legal delivery.
