About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Remote Civil Project Manager to lead diverse infrastructure development projects from anywhere within South Africa. This fully remote role requires exceptional organizational skills and a proven ability to manage projects, teams, and stakeholders virtually. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and closing of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, all while maintaining effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle for multiple civil infrastructure projects , from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage and motivate distributed project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive virtual work environment.
• Ensure adherence to all design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, senior management, and stakeholders, providing project updates and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project management , with a strong portfolio of completed infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects remotely and leading virtual teams effectively.
• Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Teams).
• Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and contract management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
