Job summary

Placements24 seeks a passionate Virtual Child Development Coach to remotely support families from birth to five years old. You will guide parents, set personalized goals, and implement development-focused strategies via digital platforms.

This role emphasizes evidence-based practices, strong communication, and flexible, remote work. Ideal candidates have a Master’s in a related field and proven experience coaching parents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven experience coaching, counseling, or educating parents on child development.
• Deep understanding of developmental stages from birth to age five.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and empathetic interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Slack).
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging online content.
• Strong organizational skills for remote caseload management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with parents to assess developmental needs and goals.
• Develop personalized child development action plans with families.
• Provide coaching on age-appropriate activities, positive discipline, and nurturing environments.
• Educate parents on milestones and common challenges.
• Offer strategies for addressing behavioral and emotional development.
• Use secure video conferencing for all client interactions.
• Maintain confidential client records.
• Facilitate virtual parent groups or workshops as needed.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Stay current with research and best practices in child development and parenting support.
