Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management seeks a Sales & Engagement Specialist to drive adoption of the eShepherd virtual fencing technology across New Zealand. You will grow customer adoption, generate leads, and manage a sales pipeline while working remotely and occasionally traveling for customer visits, field days and industry events.

You will collaborate with Business Development Managers, Customer Success, and the wider team to demonstrate value and guide livestock producers through the sales journey,

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or customer engagement.
• Experience in agriculture, AgTech, livestock, dairy, grazing systems or another rural industry.
• Strong understanding or interest in livestock farming, grazing systems and pasture management across beef and dairy operations.
• Proven ability to build pipeline and convert opportunities into sales.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• CRM experience and strong commercial acumen.
• Self-motivation, resilience and a results-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities.
• Source new opportunities through industry networks, referrals, events and prospecting activities.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Utilise CRM and reporting tools to manage customer activity, forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Support regional sales strategies and contribute to the growth of eShepherd adoption across New Zealand.
• Build trusted relationships with farmers, producers and rural stakeholders.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, tailoring solutions to individual farming operations.
• Lead customer conversations, address objections and negotiate positive outcomes.
• Partner with Customer Success to support onboarding, adoption and long-term customer value.
• Monitor sales performance and provide insights on lead generation, conversion, pipeline growth and revenue performance.
