Job summary

AWF Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a fixed-term relocation project in Hawke's Bay, NZ. This full-time role runs for approximately 3 months with a potential extension based on project needs.

You will coordinate facility exit, logistics, inventory moves and office setup, working with internal teams, suppliers and contractors to keep the relocation on schedule and within scope. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong organisation, clear communication and the ability

Qualifications

• Proven project management or coordination experience.
• Hands-on, practical approach with willingness to get involved.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience with relocation, logistics, facilities moves, or similar projects would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation and exit of the current facility.
• Manage packing activities, logistics, and auctioning of surplus items.
• Coordinate the relocation of inventory and stock.
• Oversee and coordinate "make good" requirements at the existing site.
• Coordinate the relocation of machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate the office move and setup at the new location.
• Work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and transport providers to ensure the project runs smoothly and on time.
