Job summary

Oji Fibre Solutions is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead predictive and preventative maintenance for our Mangere Bridge site. You will drive plant reliability, reduce downtime and extend equipment life, collaborating with maintenance, production and contractors to implement improvements and maintain safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in reliability engineering, experience with pneumatics/hydraulics, RCA workshops, and CMMS usage.

Qualifications

Three years plus experience in a Reliability Engineering role with proven projects
Experience in improving machinery reliability in modern high-speed manufacturing
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics and engineering methods
Safety systems incl. permit to work, LOTO, machine guarding
Experience running RCA workshops with cross-functional teams
Formal Lean training advantageous
CMMS familiarity (MEX, SAP) and data analysis skills
Industrial safety and risk-based inspection experience

Responsibilities

Improve plant reliability by reviewing results and ensuring preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
Reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life through reliability centred maintenance
Resolve major breakdowns using RCA and collaborative problem solving
Teach reliability techniques to maintenance and production staff
Design and implement improvements to equipment and processes
Identify barriers to improving engineering performance
Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors
Support health and safety culture within the team
