Rabobank New Zealand seeks a Senior Business Analyst to support the NZ Deposit Takers Act programme on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Hamilton. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes and work with Product Owners, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology.

Qualifications

• Proven business analysis experience within banking, financial services or a regulated industry.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and traceability skills.
• Experience with process mapping, process improvement and future‑state design.
• Knowledge of operational risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Experience supporting testing, change and implementation activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting NZ DTA standards and translating regulatory requirements into clear business requirements.
• Capturing current‑state processes and supporting future‑state design.
• Assisting with organisational, operational and process impact assessments.
• Supporting stakeholder engagement, discovery activities, workshops and sessions.
• Documenting requirements, decisions and traceability artefacts.
• Supporting development and update of policies, processes and staff guidance.
