Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Dunedin is seeking a Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council registration and APC to join our Radiology/Mediacl Imaging team. You will perform a range of diagnostic procedures, support an orientation program, and work within a multidisciplinary team across CT, Ultrasound, MRI and interventional services.

The role requires Monday–Friday hours with occasional evenings, weekends and on-call duties, and a focus on patient assessment and efficient service

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC.
  • Experience in a New Zealand hospital setting.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Strong patient assessment skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary Radiology team.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures within scope.
  • Contribute to an orientation programme in a varied radiology specialty area.
  • Hours are predominantly Monday–Friday with some evenings and weekends and on-call roster.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team across CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Interventional suite.
  • Support training of new PICC inserters.

Salary Range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $75,773 and $106,739 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
