Job summary

Carefirst Westown in New Plymouth, NZ, is seeking a capable and confident Registered Nurse to join our busy, well-established team. You will work with GPs, NPs, nurses, PCAs and admin staff to deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate care to our community.

The role offers 0.6–1 FTE (three–five days per week) with varied, rewarding responsibilities including acute care, chronic condition management, immunisations and health assessments. NZ practising certificate required.

Qualifications

• Active NZ practising certificate required.
• Vaccinators certificate preferred.
• Experience with cervical screening preferred.
• Strong time management and flexibility.
• Empathetic, energetic team player with commitment to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care in a busy clinic with GPs, NPs, nurses and admin staff.
• Provide acute care, chronic condition management, immunisations and health assessments.
• Support patient education and culturally appropriate care for whānau.
