Health New Zealand in Hawke's Bay (Hastings) is seeking a Registered Nurse - Oncology to join an outpatient cancer care team at 0.7 FTE. You will support patients and whānau through treatment, assess, plan, and deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, deliver education on therapies and side effects, and contribute to holistic care from diagnosis through recovery or end-of-life care in a supportive environment.

As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care within an outpatient oncology setting, supporting people throughout their treatment and recovery journey. You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess, plan, and deliver care, while working closely with patients and whānau facing complex and often life-limiting conditions.
Your role will be both clinically rewarding and varied - supporting systemic anti-cancer therapies, delivering education, and helping patients manage treatment and side effects. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a holistic approach to care that supports wellbeing from diagnosis through to treatment, recovery, or end-of-life care.
Our Oncology service provides outpatient cancer care across Hastings and satellite community sites. You will join a multidisciplinary team of nurses, clinicians, and support staff dedicated to delivering coordinated, high-quality care to patients across the region.
