Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Taranaki is seeking an experienced registered nurse for our Endoscopy Unit. This permanent part-time role (0.8 FTE) involves caring for patients throughout peri-operative and post-operative care, with Monday to Friday am/pm shifts, and a supportive team environment.

We work closely with theatre, endoscopy, CNS and specialists to deliver best practice and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Nursing Registration and practicing certificate required.
• Competent and professional practitioner delivering care in a patient-centred approach.
• Experience in endoscopy or peri-operative nursing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during peri-operative and post-operative phases for endoscopy patients.
• Collaborate with theatre, endoscopy, CNS and specialists to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to high-quality nursing care for patients, whanau and staff.

Are you an experienced RN looking for a role within the Endoscopy Unit? We have a permanent part-time position available.

We are welcoming applications from competent and professional practitioners who will be providing care, and best practice nursing services to our patients that puts them at the centre of everything we do.

Successful candidate will join the Endoscopy team working Monday to Friday, am/pm shifts on a 0.8 FTE.

Our team plays an integral part in the peri-operative phase and surgical post-operative care, we work closely with theatre, endoscopy, CNS and many of the specialists within Health New Zealand Taranaki. We care for patients undergoing a broad range of specialities in a high turnover environment. Our priority is to provide professional and exceptional quality nursing care to our patients, their whanau, staff and visitors whilst in our department.
