Job summary

Registered Nurse sought for a fixed-term 32-hour week at Bupa Bethesda Care Home, Bishopdale. You will lead care delivery across rest home, hospital and dementia settings, rotating across morning, afternoon and night shifts.

The role is until 26 September 2027 with an average 32 hours per week, offering a supportive team and opportunities to apply clinical judgement with residents and whānau. You’ll hold current Nursing Council NZ Annual Practising Certificate and bring NZ aged care experience

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Council of NZ Annual Practising Certificate
• NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered
• Demonstrated improvements in care plans, assessments and documentation quality
• Identifies health changes early and acts to ensure safety
• Communicates effectively with residents, whānau, teams and providers
• Maintains clinical standards, accurate documentation and quality improvement
• Confident using clinical systems, records and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Use your clinical experience to take ownership of the shift, guide the care team and build relationships with residents and whānau.
• Provide high-quality clinical care to residents across rest home, hospital or psychogeriatric settings.
• Lead care delivery, embrace new care innovations and make clinical decisions while delivering safe, evidence-based care.
