Job summary

Bupa in Christchurch is seeking a Registered Nurse for Parklands Care Home on a fixed-term contract (32 hours per week) across morning, afternoon and night shifts. You will lead the shift, manage medication, respond to changes in residents' health and support the wider care team.

You will deliver high-quality clinical care in rest home, hospital or psychogeriatric settings, aligned with Nursing Council NZ competencies and focus on person-centred care for residents and whānau.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with NZ registration and current Practising Certificate.
• Experience in aged care settings or hospital/geriatric care is preferred.
• Demonstrated improvements in care plans, assessments and documentation quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and manage medication for residents.
• Respond to changes in residents' health and escalation as needed.
• Guide the wider care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Provide clinical care across rest home, hospital or psychogeriatric settings.
