Oceania is seeking a Registered Nurse based in Franklin, New Zealand. You will practice at full scope within a nurse-led service, coordinating daily care needs and building strong connections with residents and families.
Your clinical judgment will underpin high-quality care across the team. You will lead and mentor staff, participate in comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with allied health professionals to support residents living well in our villages.
As a Registered Nurse with Oceania based at Franklin, you will have the opportunity to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. Your clinical expertise and judgment will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to our residents. You will coordinate daily care needs, inspire others, and build strong connections and relationships with our residents and their families.
Coordinating the daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting others
Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively
Making critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrating autonomy
Building connections and relationships with residents and their families (and allied health professionals in the community)
Providing leadership and guidance to care staff and team members.
A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
A commitment to delivering excellent service
Previous experience using clinical systems
Desirable: InterRai experience (but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective time management abilities
The capability to coach and mentor other staff
Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
