Oceania Healthcare's Green Gables village in New Zealand is seeking a Registered Nurse to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. You will coordinate daily care needs, assess and intervene, and build connections with residents and their families.
You will make autonomous clinical decisions, provide leadership to care staff, and collaborate with allied health professionals in the community. Applicants must hold a NZ Annual Practising Certificate and demonstrate excellent communication
As a Registered Nurse with Oceania based at Green Gables, you will have the opportunity to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. Your clinical expertise and judgment will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to our residents. You will coordinate daily care needs, inspire others, and build strong connections and relationships with our residents and their families.
Coordinating the daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting others
Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively
Making critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrating autonomy
Building connections and relationships with residents and their families (and allied health professionals in the community)
Providing leadership and guidance to care staff and team members.
A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
A commitment to delivering excellent service
Previous experience using clinical systems
Desirable: InterRai experience (but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective time management abilities
The capability to coach and mentor other staff
Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
Competitive hourly rate of $37.38 to $53.22 based on experience
Minimum of 32 hours per week
Fortnightly roster includes weekends and night shift
