New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking a Regional Infrastructure Development & Delivery Lead for Auckland. You will provide regional leadership across project development and delivery, connecting regional priorities with delivery decisions and stakeholder expectations.

You will work with councils, iwi, hapū and agencies to align investment with regional needs, manage risks, and support coherent decisions across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Expertise in transport planning, investment planning, statutory processes, investment case development, and transport project development and delivery.
• Strong understanding of central and local government responsibilities and transport investment frameworks.
• Significant experience building effective partnerships, negotiating and influencing for transport system outcomes.
• Experience working with Māori and understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and public sector obligations.

Responsabilités

• Provide regional leadership across project development and delivery, aligning with regional priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Support the Regional Manager and sponsors with advice, issue resolution and risk management.
• Collaborate with planning and delivery teams to connect regional investment priorities with delivery outcomes.
• Represent the region in governance forums and maintain alignment across councils and agencies.
