Job summary

Air Liquide New Zealand is seeking a Project Manager to lead regional installations and engineering initiatives in Auckland. You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance while managing costs and stakeholder relations across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of project experience in gas equipment maintenance and customer management. Hybrid work arrangements apply in Penrose, Auckland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in project implementation, commercial customer management, and gas equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD to adapt and modify standard technical drawings.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and solution-focused decision-making skills with an innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact regional projects in line with technical requirements, company guidelines, and industry standards.
• Drive safe and compliant project execution across nominated sites.
• Analyze costs and deliver accurate project costings within budgets.
• Collaborate with clients from planning through handover and ongoing maintenance support.
• Develop SWMS and risk assessments to maintain zero-compromise site safety standards.
• Implement regional asset management structures and upgrade SOPs through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical engineering support to the national team to drive regional innovation.
