Job summary

Air Liquide New Zealand is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-impact regional projects across Auckland and Penrose. You will drive budgets, engage customers from design through handover, and ensure ongoing maintenance support while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

You will deploy SWMS and risk assessments, support SOP improvements, and liaise with the national engineering team to deliver regional innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in project implementation, commercial customer management, and gas equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD to adapt/modify standard drawings.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and solution‑oriented decision making with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact regional projects across nominated sites.
• Oversee financials: costings within budget and regional installation/maintenance expenses.
• Engage with clients from planning/design to handover and ongoing maintenance support.
• Develop and audit SWMS and risk assessments to maintain safety standards.
• Implement regional asset management and SOP upgrades through improvements.
