Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Regional Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver to serve Queenstown, Eastern Cape and nearby regions. You will transport temperature-sensitive medications and medical supplies to pharmacies, hospitals and clinics, maintaining cold-chain integrity and regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have a clean driving record, a Code 10 license if possible, and at least 3 years of professional driving experience in pharmaceutical deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 10 preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or sensitive goods.
• Demonstrated understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled transportation requirements.
• Familiarity with the Queenstown, Eastern Cape area and surrounding road networks.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan efficient routes.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading shipments.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport pharmaceutical products to healthcare facilities, with temperature controls.
• Adhere to strict delivery schedules to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Maintain shipment integrity and temperature logs; comply with regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; keep vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Document deliveries with signatures and mileage; report incidents promptly.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch and clients; manage delays.
• Plan efficient routes to minimize transit times within the region.
