Job summary

Randstad New Zealand in Wellington is seeking an Intelligence Analyst, Regional, to provide regulatory intelligence supporting frontline inspectorate activity across the region.

You will analyse data from diverse sources, identify risks and trends, and translate findings into clear intelligence products that help inspectors and leaders target efforts with impact. Strong writing and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing quantitative and qualitative information to generate meaningful insights.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous information.
• Proven ability to write clear, structured reports or intelligence products.
• Experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder requests.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational data and information to identify regional risks and emerging trends.
• Develop intelligence products that support regulatory targeting and prioritisation.
• Translate complex findings into practical, actionable intelligence.
• Build strong relationships with inspectors and operational stakeholders to understand emerging regulatory challenges
• Provide timely intelligence support for regional regulatory activities.
• Produce operational reports and dashboards that support decision-making.
• Escalate emerging issues requiring wider organisational attention.
