Job summary

FormShore is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive sales and commercial performance across the lower South Island. Based in Queenstown, you’ll cover Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, Invercargill and surrounding areas, with regular travel across the region.

The role combines customer relationships, new business, quoting and project coordination, with responsibilities for tendering, planning and coordinating with clients, designers and engineers to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

• Construction industry experience.
• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Good commercial judgement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
• Develop new business opportunities across the region
• Manage enquiries, quotes and job planning
• Coordinate with clients, designers and engineers
• Identify additional opportunities on active projects
• Support commercial and operational problem-solving
• Improve systems, processes and business performance
• Work with other NZS Group businesses on wider opportunities
• Ensure safety is considered throughout tendering and project planning
