Foodstuffs North Island Limited is seeking a skilled butcher leader to partner with store teams across 35-40 PAK’nSAVE and New World stores. You will coach butchery teams, lift capability, and drive improvements in operations and food safety.

The role combines hands-on butchery expertise with commercial acumen, data analysis, and strong stakeholder relationships. Expect regular store visits, autonomy, and travel across Waikato, Coromandel, and broader North Island regions.

Qualifications

• Strong butchery experience, ideally as a Butchery Manager or senior team member.
• Solid understanding of meat cuts, yields, waste control, and production planning.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to influence outcomes.
• Experience using SAP or similar systems in a retail environment.
• Exceptional people and coaching skills – you can influence, challenge, and inspire.
• Strong planning, organisation, and self-management capability.
